Step 3: Water Removal / Water Extraction
After SERVPRO of Plano has competed our initial inspection of the water damage migration we will begin the process of extracting the standing water. Standing water can be both a health and safety concern, so this is a critical step in the process as this will allow us to remove the majority of the water prior to any further mitigation. SERVPRO of Plano utilizes both truck-mounted vacuum units as well as powerful portable extraction units which allows us to quickly extract thousands of gallons of water from your property. Many customers are amazed at how much water SERVPRO can extract from their property.

Emergency Water Removal
Our highly trained technicians will begin the water removal process almost immediately. Depending on the amount of water, we may use powerful submersible pumps in addition to industrial strength, wet/dry vacuums. Removing most of the water helps reduce drying time and helps prevent secondary water damage and mold and bacterial growth.
